In 2020 we discovered that this item, which was (and in some parts of the world still is) a staple of black and brown homes, was steeped in racism.
In our mind this triggered a complete re-evaluation of everything we had been told and knew about the products and services surrounding us.
Having been a process that was once done philosophically, it was now time to do it practically - reject everything and start again. So, that's what we did.
